Gabriel Priest is a 2026 LHP/1B, OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from Whiteville, NC who attends Whiteville. Physical build with strength present in the frame in that helped him on both sides of the baseball. Ran a 7.88 60-yard dash. On the mound he had an explosive delivery, working up to speed with a quieter round-up. He worked downhill and gets the fastball to ride, working 80-82 mph. Mixed in a 2-to-7 breaking curveball that got whiffs and was a nice change of pace from the fastball. A left-handed hitter who uses a high-hand set with the back elbow up. He's slightly open with a widened stance. He still stays short to the ball and was able to use his physical frame and lift the ball pull-side with juice. Worked out as an outfielder, fielding it off to the side and then working through it to produce line-drive throws. Longer arm action with power behind it, getting throws around the bag and near the target. Very Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
