2026 PG Mid-Atlantic High School All-State Games (Invite Only)
Christian Mascaro is a 2027 MIF/RHP/OF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Toms River, NJ who attends Toms River South. Features a medium athletic build with lean, wiry strength and some room to add more. Ran a 7.32 60-yard dash. Primarily a middle infielder, showing solid footwork with some feel for the glove and the ability to field the ball softly and out front. Uses a few extra shuffles before release, but gets to a shorter arm action and can throw accurately from multiple slots with average present arm strength (83 mph). In the outfield, shows a slower initial approach at times but works into good athletic posture into reception as he arm shows flashes of carry and above-average arm strength. At the plate, hits from an even base with a square stance and simple stride timing trigger. Shows some athleticism in the box with average bat speed, a decently connected swing and the ability to handle the barrel to produce quality all fields contact. Round consisted of quality line-drive contact and carried that approach into gameplay with a couple game barrels. There is some offensive foundation to build on as he continues to add strength and refine the swing. On the mound, starts with a disconnected mid-body handset before working into a high, compact leg lift and medium-length arm action to a high 3/4 slot. Fastball worked in the mid-70s with subtle cutting action and a feel for keeping it around the zone. Mixed in a deeper 11-5 breaking ball with some quality shape but developing sharpness/power.
