Christian Spoone is a 2025 OF/RHP with a 5-9 147 lb. frame from Pasadena, MD who attends Chesapeake. Compact frame with good muscle tone and some twitch to his actions with more to come. Ran the 60 yard dash in 7.18 seconds. Primary position OF, taking good routes to the ball while fielding out front and working into a clean midline transfer. Free arm action, spinning the ball well and generating throws up to 83 mph to the bags. Very solid fundamentals and did things easy in his reps. Secondary RHP, using full windup into coiling chest high leg lift at balance. Strides a touch open at times but when in line used his high 3/4 arm angle to create some life on his FB that peaked at 82 mph with decent spin profiles. CB with good depth and late 11-5 action in the low-70's. CH with good arm speed and deception with fading action and appropriate low-spin. Attacks the hitters and pounds the strike zone. RHH starting from a wide and balanced stance using a small heal lift to trigger. Significant bat tilt creating a bit of length and really throws the hands at the ball. In and out of zone quick, but showed solid contact when in the middle of the field. Emerging strength, with a solid all around foundation and skill set. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
