Dylan Snyder is a 2023 2B/RHP/1B with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Janesville, WI who attends Craig. Tall and lanky high waisted build, tons of room to fill in and get stronger. 7.68 runner in the sixty. Primary infielder on defense, has long actions through the ball with developing glove actions at the ball, more a corner infield profile than second base. Left handed hitter, hits from a narrow and upright stance with a big lower half shift into contact, some barrel wrap to start his swing, swings hard and has a fluid and extended swing, showed good barrel control and made consistent square contact, has hitting tools to develop with additional strength. Also pitched, has a short stride down the mound and a low 3/4's arm slot, long off-line arm action in back, whippy arm action. Mid-70's fastball topped out at 77 mph with good running life, gets the same type of running life on his change up. Also threw a soft curveball with some 11/5 shape. Key to development will simply be getting stronger and more physical. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
