Jonathan Yadiel Gonzalez is a 2023 OF/RHP/MIF with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Caguas, PR who attends Colegio Notre Dame. Smaller frame with a lean and athletic build. Ran a 6.84 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, plays low to the ball and attacks it well, clean receiver and aggressive working through it while showing strong and accurate throws on a line. Similar athlete in the infield, works low to it and moves well laterally, soft hands and accurate with throws across from multiple slots. Up to 76 mph on the mound, gets short sink on the fastball and threw a ton of strikes in a short look. Switch-hitter, grades out similarly on both sides; more direct and contact oriented on the right side, sprays line drives with some quickness and consistency while getting more loft from the left side with occasional jump to the pull side. Balanced enough on both sides to produce in game. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
