Trever Baumler is a 2024 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Urbandale, IA who attends Dowling Catholic. Athletic build with some present strength and more to come. Well controlled delivery on the mound with a clean arm action, gets down the mound well and creates angle and leverage on his pitches at release, repeats very well. Fastball topped out at 95 mph with downhill angle and life, consistently down in the zone. Curveball mismatched good hitters this outing, easy plus depth with outstanding feel and command. Change up was a quality pitch with arm speed and life. Struck out all six hitters he faced and made it look easy. Extremely impressive performance. Right handed hitter, has a long and strong swing with some bat speed and lift, pulls the ball and gets it into the air. 6.75 runner in the sixty. Outstanding athlete who has a chance to be a special pitcher. Good student. Signed with TCU. Named to the National Pre-Draft Showcase Top Prospect List.
