Justin Fryer is a 2025 LHP/1B/OF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Norristown, PA who attends Norristown Area. Slender young build with lots of room to get stronger. Works from a slow paced semi-wind up delivery, tall and fall mechanics, has a compact arm action and tight 3/4's slot that hides the ball well, some energy at release, still gaining consistency in his timing and release. Fastball topped out at 85 mph with some cutting action, gets on hitters quickly due to his deception. Curveball was a nice pitch for him with tight spin and sweeping break, showed the ability to land it for strikes and create swing and miss. Also showed a developing change up with good arm speed. Right handed hitter, hits from a tall and narrow stance, rotational swing without much shift into contact, swings hard and creates some raw bat speed while flashing occasional juice. 6.83 runner in the sixty. Plays the outfield when not on the mound and shows nice athleticism defensively, has solid fundamentals through the ball and makes accurate on line throws. Good bet to keep improving in all areas. Excellent student. Named to the National Underclass Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
