Jake Yang is a 2025 SS/MIF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Doylestown, PA who attends Central Bucks-South. Athletic, medium, compact build with some lean muscle present throughout his frame with more physical projection remaining to be added. 7.49-second runner during the sixty. Primary middle-infielder, fielded out in front with a clean funnel. Worked through the ball well showed some bounce in his step. A plus-arm across the diamond, working up to 86 mph on his throws to first. Showcased some range as he moved well to his left and right. Right-handed hitter, sets up with an even, balanced stance. Utilized a slightly lofted stroke as he displayed some impact to the left-center gap during his round, showing the ability to create lift. Displayed some feel for the barrel as he put together a consistent round with more power projection remaining as he continues to add strength. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
