Ethan Ornelas is a 2026 3B/2B, OF with a 5-6 150 lb. frame from Phoenix, AZ who attends Millennium. Ran a 8.25 second sixty. Primary third baseman with a young medium build. On the infield he waits back on the ball with young footwork as he comes through the ball with good hands transferring into a short arm action with developing strength as he made the plays in each direction. In the outfield he carries the glove out front fielding the ball under control and gathering with a small crow hop, does a nice job of getting on top of the ball with some carry on the throws. Switch hitter, starts with a slight open stance on the left side using a toe tap trigger and impacting the ball out front with drive off the back side swinging up through the ball with natural loft. On the right side he starts with a similar set up showing better feel for the barrel and more bat speed with more punch at the point of contact.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
