Tyrus Ostrowski is a 2027 OF/RHP/C with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Port Chester, NY who attends Brunswick. Lean and projectable athletic build. Switch-hitter, sets up slightly open from the left side, has a well connected swing with some pull and carry, good leverage and bat speed, projectable swing as he gets stronger. Sets up more open right handed and is more rotational, still has solid bat speed but is more consistent and projectable from the left side. Primary outfielder on defense, has good footwork and moves well through the ball, clean short arm action and gets on top of his throws well, athleticism shows well. 3.91 runner in the 30. Also pitched, works from a full windup with balanced and easy mechanics, threw from a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 84 mph with some heaviness at the plate. Maintained his arm speed well on his curveball and on a fading change up and threw strikes with all three pitches. Has talent as a secondary arm. Excellent student. Named to the PG New York Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
