Joseph Lacour is a 2025 SS/RHP, 3B, OF with a 5-9 142 lb. frame from Grand Cane, LA who attends North Desoto. Young, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build with room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.54 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, sound footwork moving towards the ball, glove plays out front at the ball and has a clean transfer, quick arm action through the back, accurate throws across the diamond. Creates momentum to work through the ball in the outfield, gets uphill with release at times on throws, quick release, will continue to refine overall mechanics. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and back elbow at the plate with a slightly open stance. Low effort swing, upper body dominant swing and can continue to incorporate additional weight shift. Shows comfort working to pull side, keeps hands inside the ball, shows quickness to get the barrel out front, bat speed projects with added strength.
