2025 Scorpions (TX) Prospect Showcase (2026-2027 Grads)
Nick Romano is a 2026 OF/IF with a 5-8 175 lb. frame from Spring, TX who attends Concordia Lutheran. Compact build with good present strength. 6.90 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, fields the ball out front cleanly, levers well off a hard front side, carries momentum into his throws and has some arm strength, made accurate throws. Left handed hitter, sets up in a narrow and open stance with a short stride into contact, tight hand load, turns hips and clears them well, quick hands with some bat speed, pulled the ball with some jump and impact, solid hitting mechanics overall that he repeats well. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
