Zavior Esquivel is a 2025 LHP/1B with a 6-4 217 lb. frame from Fremont, OH who attends Fremont Ross. Tall slope shouldered build with some width and looseness to his hips, plenty of strength potential. Has a high knee raise to his chest to start his delivery, long stride out to the plate, stays on line very well to the plate, tight 3/4's arm action that hides the ball very well in back. Steady mid-70's fastball, works to both sides of the plate with his fastball and was consistently low in the zone, tends to nibble off the corners at times with his fastball putting him behind in counts, gets some glove side cut to his fastball at times. Curveball had good shape and consistency, lacked present power and arm speed but was landed well, can throw his curveball more often. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
