Vincent Herrera is a 2024 3B/RHP, C with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Houston, TX who attends Klein Forest. He ran a 8.04 second sixty. A primary third baseman with a slender projectable build. On the infield the feet stay busying working to and through the ball with younger actions as he maintains momentum into the throws with average arm strength for the age. Behind the plate the actions are young throwing from a wider base with a high front side ripping the upper half through to get carry on the ball flight recording a 2.15 second pop time. On the mound the lower half creates good drive after a toe tap timing through the wind up with some effort at the release, The fastball sat 71-76 mph and mixing in a breaking ball with slurvy actions in the mid 60's. Right-handed hitter, starts with an even base and high back elbow, the barrel plane stays short and flat through the zone with developing bat speed showing some ability to create lift to the pull side. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
