Tavyn Lonis is a 2027 3B/RHP/OF with a 6-1 200 lb. frame from Fulshear, TX who attends The Bennett School. Strong and physical build. Recorded a 7.51 second sixty yard dash time. Primary third baseman who graded out higher as a pitcher at this event. Made all the plays with limited range and slower footwork. On the mound the right-handed pitcher works from the windup from the first base side of the rubber with slight drop-and-drive mechanics and accelerates from a high three- quarter angle. Big arm strength staying up an on top with a full arm swing with some effort in the back. Quick arm fastball on top of the zone well in the mid-80s and topped out at 86. Curveball with two-plane break in the upper-70s. Depthier offering and around a ton with some decent bite. Slurvier shape. Right-handed hitter starts from an open stance with a high handset, utilizes a toe tap trigger. Impact to the pull-side when the barrel gets out front. Swings it hard with intent. Average bat speed with strong hands and driving it in the air to the pull-side when synced. Exciting player with good upside on both sides of the ball. Good student.
