Mason Braun is a 2025 1B/OF with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from South Bend, IN who attends Penn. Medium athletic build with very good present strength. Left handed hitter, hits from a spread and open stance with a deep hand load, has a lifting swing with very good raw bat speed, creates big carry, plenty of 105+ EV's in batting practice, big juice to right and center fields. 7.02 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, comes to the ball aggressively, very good footwork, quick turns on the double play with very good arm strength, high level defensive tools and actions at first base. Also worked out in the outfield with the same type of energy and athleticism. Gamer actions and showed toughness in the games. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Louisiana State. Selected to play in the Perfect Game All-American Classic.
