Manuel Abreu-Socorro is a 2026 C/3B with a 5-9 159 lb. frame from Madison, WI who attends James Madison Memorial. Medium frame with slight physicality to the build. Ran an 8.45 second 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, deep squat and moves out of it with old quickness, repeats his actions well and gets rid of it quick, very consistent with his timing and showed good accuracy on solid throws. Switch-hitter, grades out a bit better on the right side at present; more bat speed on the right side but maintains length on both sides and works fairly level through the zone, could improve consistency with added barrel control that will come with strength.

Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
