Tyler Costas is a 2024 OF/RHP with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Magnolia, TX who attends Home School. Medium frame with some strength to the build. Ran a 7.63 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, rounds the ball well and builds good direction working through it, fields it cleanly and showed a quick arm to release with accuracy to his throws. Also pitches, filled the zone in his outing, works around the fastball and generates cut to it down in the zone while showing a slower developing breaking ball for strikes. Right-handed hitter, has some strength to the swing, strong in the box with a good shift in, mostly level through the zone and whips it hard showing a good pull-side approach and some signs of being able to leverage hard impact. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
