Mason Brewer is a 2024 OF/LHP with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Munford, AL who attends Munford. Ran a 7.15 second sixty. Primary outfielder with a medium athletic build. Plays the ball back in the outfield receiving it on the side and working into his shuffles with a longer arm action making accurate throws with developing arm strength. Does a nice job on the mound of stay gin compact and online with his delivery with more power to get to in his lower half as he works toward home plate. Was in the zone a lot with the fastball at 67-72 mph showing spin rates in the 1800 RPM's. Worked in a curveball as his primary off-speed young young traits showing room for improved intent and more consistent arm speed to match up with the fastball. Left-handed hitter, starts with an even base using a smaller stride to trigger the swing creating good separation pre-swing with his hand load. The bat path works slightly up hill through the hitting zone with good intent and strength in the hands at the point of contact to create long fly balls to the pull side. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
