Jackson Horton is a 2025 3B/RHP, 1B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Ararat, VA who attends Patrick County. Recorded an 8.00 second sixty-yard dash. Primary third baseman has solid fundamentals as he is developing footwork and strength while fielding the ball with a late funnel and throwing 74 mph across the diamond. Secondary right-handed pitcher moves from a full wind up with a belt high leg lift and drops the back leg as he rides it down the mound. Horton hides the ball extremely well as he is developing release point and his fastball has running action topping 75 mph. He also mixes in a good breaking ball out of the same three-quarter arm slot. Right-handed hitter steps to the plate with high hands, a high back elbow, and swings down on the ball with good barrel control creating impact off the barrel working the ball gap-to-gap. Tremendous student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
