Andrew McCary is a 2024 LHP with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Meridian, MS who attends Northeast Lauderdale HS. Large, physical frame with a fair bit of present strength. Primary left-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Leg lift up above the belt with an online arm action and medium depth through the back. Extended three-quarters arm slot and gets good arm side run on the fastball. Can pitch in on the hands of right-handed hitters. Extended release on the breaking ball that he could land for strikes with short depth to it. Two pitch mix at present and does so in a low effort manor. Misses bats with the fastball when elevated. Can improve on timing with runners on base. Great student.
