Drew Kaplan is a 2024 3B/RHP/MIF with a 6-2 197 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Palo Verde. Tall, proportional, athletic frame. Has a physical look offensively. Starts balanced gets good hand separation on load. Shows intent with excellent, compact hand/bat speed. Has looseness to his hands and the ball jumps off his bat demonstrating he has over the fence power potential. Defensively, he uses proper foot/glove mechanics and gets through the ball but there is a raw component to his actions. Has a strong accurate arm. There is some pitch ability on the mound. A strike thrower that pounds the zone. Has a noticeable competitive spirit which is refreshing. Showed a quick arm and produced a lot of swing and misses. Clocked a 6.9 60-yard dash. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
