Jacob Trainor is a 2024 2B/IF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Ft. Lauderdale, FL who attends Cardinal Gibbons. Slender build with lots of room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a spread stance with a high hand load, limited shift into contact, has some strength in his hands and swing hard, flashes some jump off the barrel but can be more consistent getting the barrel out into the zone. 7.36 runner in the sixty. Primary second baseman on defense, has good footwork and gets into position to field well, can get sped up on the move, tends to stand straight up to throw, arm strength playable at second base. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
