Anthony Alvarez is a 2024 OF/RHP, 1B, 3B with a 6-0 172 lb. frame from Summerville, SC who attends Cane Bay Sr. Recorded a 7.78-second sixty-yard dash time. Medium, compact build with some present strength throughout with room remaining to be filled throughout his build. Primary outfielder, aggressive approach to the ball, fielding off his front foot. Longer arm action, getting on top of his throws, remaining on line to his target. Up to 74 mph from the outfield. Secondary right-handed pitcher, worked from a full windup using his lower half to drive down the mound. Creates some downhill plane on his fastball from an over-the-top arm slot, up to 75 mph with his heater. Sprayed the zone during his outing, working in all four quadrants of the zone. Also took some reps at first base during defensive workouts, moved around the bag well with a deep fielding funnel. Right-handed hitter, narrow, upright stance with a high-hand set and high back elbow. Slight leg-lift-trigger with a line-drive swing plane. Showcased present quickness to his hands, flashing the ability to lift the ball through the middle of the field while showing power potential to the pull side. Stayed through the ball well with a repeatable swing. Tremendous student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
