James "JD" Aufderheide is a 2027 OF/1B with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Powder Springs, GA who attends North Cobb Christian. Recorded a 6.78 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder with some present strength. Moves with athleticism to actions in the outfield and fielded off of left foot. Full and long arm swing through the back with whip. Releases from a high-3/4 arm slot and gets good carry on throws. Comes out clean and recorded throws up to 83 mph. Right-handed hitter and starts from a narrow base. Employs overal simple swing mechanics and approach. Creates separation well and stayed under control during the round. Gets extended out front and consistently peppered line drives to the pull side and the middle of the field. Great bat speed and power projects very well. Recorded an exit velocity of 90 mph. Named to the 2023 National Underclass Showcase- Main Event Top Prospect List.
