2025 Showtime Select Org Showcase
Tyler Hager is a 2027 1B/RHP/OF with a 6-7 192 lb. frame from Wall Township, NJ who attends St. Rose. Extra tall and lean build with huge projectability remaining. Primary first baseman who has two-way potential on the mound as well. Right handed hitter, starts from a balanced stance with a low hand load, has strong hands and creates easy bat speed and carry, mid field to opposite field contact, huge projection with the bat. 7.03 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, moves very well for his size and has clean glove work, arm really stood out with lots of whippy arm speed. Also worked out in the outfield and showed the same type of arm strength and projection. Works from an abbreviated wind up on the mound with a controlled belt high leg raise, long arm takeaway in back with an extended low 3/4's arm slot. Fastball was up to 85 mph with lots of arm side life, velo played up and there is lots more there. Threw both a curveball and slider, slider was tighter with some quick two-plane break. Firm change up has potential as well. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
