2023 Jr. National Showcase
Sean McCabe is a 2025 RHP/1B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Fairfax, VA who attends St. Johns College. Medium frame with a compact build and room for strength. Primary right-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Turn step into a leg lift above the belt. Compact arm action and fired from a high slot. Gets on top of the ball well and can create good carry when elevated. Quick paced delivery and moves the fastball to both halves. Breaking ball shows 11/5 shape with good depth to the bottom of the zone. Best fastball command came to the arm side. Flashed a changeup but mostly worked with fastball-curveball. Good arm speed and will continue to progress. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
