Garrit Terrell is a 2022 C/1B with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Wetumpka, AL who attends Wetumpka. He ran a 8.26 second sixty. A primary catcher with a medium stocky build. Behind the dish he starts with a slight side saddle stance, he reaches a bit to receive the ball before gaining ground and getting tall in the throwing position, his arm action showed short with accurate throws that had carry to second base with a 2.09 second pop time. At first base he showed a strong arm with accurate throws on his double play feeds as he does a nice job getting his feet in a good position to make the play. At the plate his right-handed swing starts with a wide base getting into his legs, the bat path works short and simple to the ball with a long finish creating backspin when the timing is right.
