2025 PG Sophomore National Showcase (2028 Grads)
Andrew Jackson III is a 2028 LHP/OF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Tuscaloosa, AL who attends Tuscaloosa Co. Medium athletic build with good present strength. Primary left handed pitcher with two-way potential as a left-handed hitting outfielder. Works from a big side step delivery into a belt high leg raise, short takeaway in back with a high 3/4's arm slot, athletic delivery that he repeats well. Fastball was mostly in the mid-80's and topped out at 88 mph with some arm side life at times. Breaking ball blended in often between slider and curveball shape, will need refining but showed good spin. Threw strikes with both pitches and competed well. 6.91 runner in the sixty. Showed his arm strength well in the outfield and has a clean arm stroke and makes accurate throws, fields the ball off to the side and can be late getting his glove down, carries his momentum well into his throws. Left handed hitter, has present bat speed and leverage at contact, finds the barrel often, mid-90's game exit velocities, power to come as he matures physically. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
