Andrew Rice is a 2027 OF/3B/RHP with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Cumming, GA who attends Denmark. Long and lean athletic build with lots of physical growth ahead. 8.00 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, two-handed fielder with a compact arm action, has an idea on his fundamentals with his footwork and transitions, developing arm strength, makes accurate soft throws. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with a big load and coil to his back side, doesn't get back to his front side and still developing the strength to hit through the ball, mostly opposite field contact. Took a turn on the mound, starts with a big side step start into a belt high leg raise, full arm swing in back, lands closed out front for a crossfire angle to the plate. Did a good job of throwing strikes with a mid-70's fastball that topped out at 77 mph, still developing his curveball and change up. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
