Austin Felger is a 2024 LHP/1B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Acworth, GA who attends Allatoona. Ran a 7.75 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary left-handed pitcher with a tall frame and lanky build and a strong lower half with more room to fill. Stretch-only delivery with leg lift to the belt before a drop and drive stride down the mound, staying online to the plate. Arm takes a smooth path to release from a three-quarter slot, remaining on time and in rhythm with lower half. Fastball at 72-mph with occasional life through the upper half of the zone and a curveball at 60-mph with more of a lateral break and developing depth. Secondary first baseman displayed aggression and twitch, working through the ball with one-handed funnel out front. Clean footwork around the bag with feel for the glove and ability to receive out front paired with present feel to work through throws in the dirt. Throws with accuracy through the infield at 73-mph. Left-handed hitter with a square setup and hands low outside his chest. Developing rhythm and timing in the box and feel for the barrel. Hand-eye coordination present with ability to see pitches deep and capitalize with present power to the opposite field. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
