Nathan Lee is a 2022 RHP/1B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Murrieta, CA who attends Vista Murrieta. Recorded a 7.61 second 60 yard dash time. Big and strong frame, primary right-handed pitcher with a big side step into a belt high leg lift. Jumps down the mound, long arm action, arm gets lost behind the back. Some deception to the delivery, throws from the first base side, comes from a three-quarters slot. Really gets into the back side, some plunge in the back, maintains his line towards the plate. Slider is short and horizontal, can get the fastball to both halves, ball jumps out of the hand. Secondary first baseman with present strength, fields out in front, shows firm hands. Solid footwork, has carry across the diamond at 80 mph. Left-handed hitter, turns the front shoulder to load with a toe lift trigger, low hand set with a pull side approach. Some pop to the pull side, loud impact off the barrel, level path with good extension. Sinks into the lower half and can get stuck back there at times. Great student.
