Tyler McLeod is a 2025 RHP/3B/SS with a 6-1 150 lb. frame from Manahawkin, NJ who attends Southern Regional. Long, slender frame with a high waist and plenty of physical projection remaining. Recorded a 5.51 second forty-yard dash time. Primary right-handed pitcher that worked from a full windup deliver with rhythm and tempo down the slope. Incorporates a higher, coiled leg lift into balance and gets down the slope with good lower half movements. Fastball worked in the low-80s for the duration of his outing and topped out at 83 mph from a loose three-quarters arm slot. Strike thrower with developing command of the strike zone, fastball plays up and will continue to improve with additional velocity as he physically matures. Mixed in a developing 11-5 shaped curveball with loose spin profile and gradual depth to it, while flashing a replicated changeup with fade and tumble late in his outing. The changeup is best at present and will generate plenty of swings-and-misses moving forward. Promising upside on the mound, as he continues to add strength and velocity. Secondary infielder with a developing defensive skill set. Displayed plenty of lateral range to either side and a fairly quick release with some arm strength across the diamond. Recorded arm strength up to 82 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from an upright, open stance with a high, tight hand set and leg lift trigger. Incorporates rotational lower half movements and deep arm bar loading mechanism into launch. Lofted stroke with some leverage out in-front when on-time and in-sync, used the whole field effectively and projects to add strength as he matures. Solid overall prospect with real upside on the mound, will continue to improve with refinements mechanically on both sides of the baseball and additional strength. Good Student. Named to the 2023 Northeast Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
