Austin McCabe is a 2024 1B/RHP, OF with a 6-4 197 lb. frame from Cumming, GA who attends North Forsyth. Extra Large frame with a lean build showing room to fill out physically. Ran a 6.74 second sixty yard dash. Primary First Baseman, bouncing around as he gathers out front. Stands up after gather and lets it fly. Young footwork but the arm plays as he threw it 81 mph. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working into a side step to a belt high lift. Long arm swing in the back before releasing from a higher slot. A bit uphill upon delivering. Struggled to find the zone at times. Fastball up to 83 mph. Also mixed in a slider with lateral movements. Will make huge strides when he cleans up command. Secondary Outfielder, quick first step and then slows down upon gathering. Uphill release as he threw it 85 mph during drills. Right-Handed Hitter, spread out with an open front side. Toe tap to stride as he creates separation. Hand speed present as he generates bat speed. Looked to lift and did just that. Outstanding Student.
