Diego Rosa is a 2025 C/1B with a 5-11 184 lb. frame from Humacao, PR who attends IBAHS. Medium athletic build with some present strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a balanced straight stance with a short stride into contact, has rhythm in his swing and repeats his timing well, tension free swing with solid present bat speed, hard line drive contact to the pull side and mid field, swing projects well. 6.81 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up in a one knee down stance, comes out of his crouch early, has lower half quickness, compact transfer and arm action, makes accurate throws with good carry, solid all around tools. Good student, verbal commitment to South Florida.
