John Anagnostis is a 2022 3B/RHP, C, 1B, 2B, SS, MIF, IF, OF, UT with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Mabelton, GA who attends Campbell. Large frame with an already filling out build showing strength throughout. Ran a 7.25 second sixty yard dash. Primary Third Baseman, sitting back on the baseball as he makes sure to keep the play in front of him. Scoops it up and then works into transfers. Released with intent and was accurate as he threw it 75 mph during drills. Secondary Right-Handed Pitcher, working into a side-step to a higher leg lift. Balanced at the top before driving down the hill. Direct to the dish going right after hitters. Easy effort as he lived down in the zone. Fastball up to 75 mph. ALso mixed in a slurvy breaking ball he landed for strikes. Secondary Outfielder, works smoothly into the baseball and slows down at gather to make sure he scoops it up cleanly. Arm stroke gets deep before releasing uphill. Accurate around the bag as he threw it 77 mph. Secondary First Baseman, similar fielding actions from across the diamond as he keeps the baseball out front and flashed some feel for the glove. Proper footwork present both around the bag and when turning two. Feel for the position showing. Right-Handed Hitter, starting with a slightly spread out base and open. Small toe-tap to stride as he creates separation and goes after it with intent. Looks to drive it deep to the pull-side and showed off some power while doing so. Projects power down the road as well. Great Student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
