2024 Sophomore National Showcase (2027 Grads)
Jackson Fetters is a 2027 RHP/1B/OF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from China Spring, TX who attends China Spring. Medium build with some length and strength as well. Works from a compact and fast paced delivery on the mound, slightly cross fire out front from a 3/4's arm slot, is well timed and repeats his mechanics. Fastball was in the mid-80's and topped out at 86 mph, mostly straight with occasional arm side life. Threw a sweeping curveball in the low 70's as his breaking ball and a sinking change up. Threw strikes with all his pitches. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight spread stance with a simple knee lift trigger, has strength in his swing and the bat speed comes easy, works the middle of the field and creates carry, very consistent hard barrel contact with more power and bat speed to come. 7.16 runner in the sixty. Played infield when not on the mound with third base tools and actions, long and loose arm action with some carry from a high release point, tends to get his hands down late. Interesting young two-way player, bat was especially impressive. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
