Chase Harding is a 2027 C/RHP, 3B, SS with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Fort Mill, SC who attends Fort Mill. Young,, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build, room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.44 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, lower set up behind the plate, short actions coming out of crouch with efficient movements, works to a slightly lower slot on throws down to second base, quick transfer out of glove, arm strength and carry on throws will continue to develop. Shorter arm action with similar low slot on throws across the diamond, works behind the ball well, shows some lateral range in the infield and ability to adjust slot when going up the middle. Also pitched, worked quickly with an up-tempo pace, occasionally rushes down the mound; early hand break into a longer arm action, filled the strike zone and did a nice job of repeating delivery. Fastball topped out at 74 mph and showed ability to work to both sides of the plate. Right-handed hitter, begins with a high hand set and lower back elbow at the plate with a slightly open stance. Does a nice job of remaining shorter to the baseball, contact oriented approach and utilizes a simple stride through lower half moving into contact. Stays compact through the point of contact and shows a handle for the barrel, occasional extension out front, linear path through the zone and can turn on the ball with intent in swing. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
