Eric Guevara is a 2023 SS/2B/3B with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Statesboro, GA who attends Georgia Premier Academy. Recorded a 6.83 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop with a physical frame and present strength. Showed smooth footwork and longer stides in the infield. Charged it well and displayed good arm strength, up to 91 mph across the diamond. Solid polish to actions overall. Right-handed hitter and starts with a medium base and even feet. Employs a simple load with minimal hand separation. Stays direct to the ball, using a very short stroke. Showed good bat speed with some lift to path. Sent liners to the middle part of the field often. Excellent student. Verbal commitment to Auburn.
