Pedro Rodriguez is a 2024 MIF/RHP, 3B with a 6-0 205 lb. frame from Dallas, GA who attends East Paulding. Ran a 7.38 sixty-yard dash time. Primary middle-infielder with a tall frame, and athletic build. Lateral quickness to the feet with agility aided infield range which paired nicely with glove feel. Worked through the ball with sound defensive actions, soft hands, and a quick transfer setting up a quick release out front. Short arm action produced throws at 85-mph with carry through the infield. Remained balanced and under control, leading to easy, positive projectability moving forward. A secondary right-handed pitcher with a full-windup delivery, clean mechanics, and a smooth unrestricted arm action to a lower three-quarter slotted release. Fastball up to 84-mph with arm-side run. Curveball at 72-mph took 10/4 shape with late, sharp downer bite. Open stance with high hand setup at the plate. Strength in the hands led the barrel on a direct, linear path through the zone. Contact with extension and present power to the gaps with line drive result. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
