Michael Wang is a 2027 OF/RHP/MIF with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Johns Creek, GA who attends North Gwinnett. Ran a 7.12 60-yard dash. Solid outfielder, chops feet approaching ball and works hard through it, quick arm action with some whip to it, accurate throws on a line. Hits from the right side, starts even and balanced then loads into back hip, attacks inside half of the ball and extends well through the zone. Has some decent pop when he finds the barrel. Also pitched with a 3 pitch mix. Loose arm with a 3/4 release, has a compact delivery. Ran the Fastball up to 76 with 2350 spin, able to locate the fastball well. Mixes with a sharp curveball at 2800 spin and a change up at 1600 spin. Projectable arm with an interesting ability to spin the ball. Outstanding student. Named to the PG National Academic Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
