Greyson Gegg is a 2024 1B/RHP, OF with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from Saint Simons Island, GA who attends Glynn Academy. Ran a 7.15 seance sixty. Primary first baseman with a long lengthy build showing room to fill moving forward. sits back on the ball in the outfield, fielding it out front with soft hands before shuffling into the throws with a clean gather and long arm action creating average carry with a solid arm strength on the throws from a higher slot. Showed some rhythm to the delivery with a leg lift up to the belt dipping into the back side slightly with a short compact arm action up to a three-quarters arm slot hiding the ball well on the back side with some projectable arm speed. Lsows the arm slightly on the breaking ball but lands for strikes with 12-6 shape in the mid 60's. Left-handed hitter, stars even with a slightly open base showing some rhythm to the operation while using the ground to create power through the lower half. Does a nice job of getting the barrel out front t contact and using his length to create extension though the ball with flashes of pull side power when squared up. Excellent student. Named to the 2021 National Underclass Showcase-Main Event Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
