Mason Dawe is a 2023 3B/RHP, C, 2B, MIF, IF, OF, UT with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Demorest, GA who attends Habersham Central. Ran a 7.39 second sixty-yard dash time. Primary third baseman with medium frame and strength to the build. Clean defensive actions with feel for the glove and ability to work through the ball well creating a clear line to target. Quick transfer leads to short arm action that releases from multiple slots with accuracy and carry across. Throws at 74-mph in drills. A secondary right-handed pitcher with full windup mechanics and smooth tempo to a three-quarter release. Maintains slot across repertoire, helping pitches play up and add to overall deception. Fastball at 76-mph with run on occasion. Curveball at 66-mph with developing depth and feel. When he stays on top it is better with downer bite for swing-and-miss. Also worked out in the outfielder where he produced throws at 78-mph with accuracy to bases. One-handed gather in the outfield with athleticism and agility, giving him the ability to range to either side, collect, and work straight towards his target. Right-handed hitter who sets up in the box with a square stance and high hand set. Upon toe-tap trigger, really gets his hips involved creating torque and leverage with lower half. Current hand speed, shoots barrel through the zone, with direct path and present hand-eye coordination. Line-drive results to the gaps with strength in operation. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
