Wyatt Simons is a 2028 RHP/SS, MIF with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Brooklyn, NY who attends The Stony Brook. Tall and lean frame with a good amount of time to continue adding strength. Ran a 7.55 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, full windup up, side step into a belt high lift, attacks the zone and repeats the mechanics well, long arm action to a three-quarters slot. Fastball has late life, up to 79 mph (2445 RPM). Breaking ball has good depth, up to 66 mph (1910 RPM). Right-handed hitter, high hands and back elbow, even base, short stride out into contact, short swing with quick hands. Comes off the barrel well with minimal moving parts, repeats it well and has strength at impact. Impacted to the middle of the field consistently. Secondary shortstop, works through grounders with a two hand funnel out front, has a bounce to the step and athleticism in the actions, has arm strength across with good carry and it comes out of the hand well. Recorded accurate throws up to 80 mph. Tremendous student. Named to 2023 14u Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.
