Rafael Ramos is a 2022 C/OF with a 5-10 176 lb. frame from Bayamon, PR who attends Carlos Beltran Baseball Academy. Medium frame with strength in the build showing a sturdy lower half. Ran a 7.40 second sixty yard dash. Primary Catcher, sitting low in his stance and proved to be flexible with the lower half. Received the baseball well and was quick with transfers on throw downs. Accurate throws to the bag as he recorded a pop time of 2.29 seconds. Switch Hitter, from the right-side, starting with an even base as the hands get deep before he strides out. Stays linear through the zone as he looked to spray it on a line to all fields. From the left-side, starting even here as well before working into a load and big weight transfer. Loose swing as he flashed more bat speed from this. Ball jumped off the bat when he timed it up. Good Student.
