Christopher Conde is a 2024 RHP/MIF with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Lakeland, FL who attends Lakeland. Long athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Works from a full windup on the mound with a high leg raise start, full arm takeaway in back leading to a high 3/4's release slot, repeats his mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 86 mph, gets nice carry up in the zone and some sink and run down, got inside on the hands of right handed hitters frequently, works glove side comfortably as well. Tunnels his slider very well with his fastball and has a solid two-pitch mix with lots of strikes. 7.43 runner in the sixty. Has third base tools on defense when not on the mound. Right handed hitter, drifts into contact with hanging leg lift trigger, downhill swing plane with contact to all fields. Good student. Named to the Fall Top Prospect National Showcase Top Prospect List.
