Jace Moran is a 2027 C/3B with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Live Oak, FL who attends Suwannee. Medium athletic build with some present strength. Left handed hitter, starts from a lightly open stance with a high leg raise trigger, gets his foot down on time and gets into his strong lower half, has loose hands and present bat speed, turns the barrel well, hard contact to all sides, bat plays up. 6.79 runner in the sixty. Primary catcher on defense, sets up comfortably behind the plate and is athletic coming out of his crouch, compact arm action with a high 3/4's release and good carry on his throws, repeats his exchange and feet well. Also worked out in the infield as a third baseman and showed his arm strength well, gets his glove down early and keeps his feet active, very workable on the dirt if not catching. Good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
