Ricardo Hurtado is a 2027 OF/SS with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Whittier, CA who attends Orange Lutheran. Medium athletic build with some present strength and more to come. 7.08 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, has good footwork and carries his momentum into his throws well, good fundamental base, solid arm strength with long on-line throws with long hops, gets some tail at times from a 3/4's arm slot. Right handed hitter, sets up in a wide and straight stance with some deepness in his hand load, simple load and timer, inside swing path, creates some carry to the middle of the field when the barrel gets out, has some projection as a hitter. Very good student.
