2019 14U Fall Southeast Showcase
Clint Seymore is a 2024 RHP/C, 3B with a 5-10 157 lb. frame from Lawrenceburg, TN who attends Loretto. Medium frame with a slender, lean build showing room to fill out down the road physically. Ran a 7.82 second sixty yard dash. Primary Righthanded pitcher working with a side step to above the belt leg lift from the windup. Leans back a bit on back side before dropping and driving down the mound. Longer stride using his length to his advantage as he stayed direct to target line. Utilized his lower half creating velo from the legs. Full arm circle in the back before showing a whippy arm action delivering from a higher three-quarter slot. Fastball up to 76 MPH as it showed some arm side run. Depthy curveball with 11-to-5 shape that he landing for strikes. Kept hitters off balance and got swings and misses, including some strike-outs. Secondary Catcher sitting well into his legs in an athletic stance. Received the baseball well showing soft hands around the corners. Aggressive to the baseball on throw downs while popping strait up before the release. Works downhill showing throws around the bags. Lefthanded hitter starting from a narrow stance with a lot of moving parts both in the lower and upper half. Loads deep with body and hands before showing a longer swing path. Looks to lift the baseball and did so with success when he got extended. Found the barrel often with good feel for it. Showed great instincts on the base-paths with aggressive reads. Outstanding Student.
