Nate Wade is a 2026 RHP/MIF, OF with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from St. Augustine, FL who attends Tocoi Creek High School. Compact build with some strength to continue to project onto the frame. Primary right-handed pitcher, short side step into a belt high leg lift, medium arm action in the back to a higher slot release point. Worked comfortably in the mid-80s, topping out at 86 mph and it plays up in the zone. Mixed two distinct breaking balls in that both hold fastball plane nicely. Curveball right around 73 mph (1966 RPM) with downer shape and slider at 75 mph (2415 RPM) with horizontal shape. Got whiffs on the fastball at the top of the zone and both breaking balls play nicely off of the fastball plane. Also showed off the arm strength from multiple positions, up to 90 mph from the outfield and 88 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, wide base and even feet, short path to contact and worked to the middle of the field in the approach. Functional swing. 7.10 runner in the 60-yard dash. Great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
